C. R. Heckaman, Jake Carpenter, Mat Ernsberger, Susan Bauer, Ward Bauer, singer/songwriter Julia James, The Mix with Janet Hines-Norris, Kerncreek, and Steve Foresman’s Rock n’ roll Caravan to headline Curtis Lord and Friends 2019 to benefit the YWCA North Central at Vegetable Buddies in Downtown South Bend. SOUTH BEND, Indiana. — Everybody Has A Story's (www.ehassb.com) 6th annual music and variety show, Curtis Lord & Friends, attracting top local musicians and storytellers will come to downtown South Bend for the sixth time on Saturday, October 19, at South Bend’s premier entertainment venue, Vegetable Buddies. Tickets go on sale to the public in August.
This year, the organization plans to support the YWCA North Central. “YWCA has been at the forefront of the most critical social movements for more than 160 years — from women’s empowerment and civil rights, to affordable housing and pay equity to violence prevention and health care,” Everybody Has A Story Director and founder C.R., Heckaman said. "Today, the YWCA North Central is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families, and strengthen communities". "We are honored to create a fundraiser for a chapter of one of the oldest and largest women’s organizations in the nation, serving over 2 million women, girls, and their families,” Heckaman added. Tickets for Everybody Has A Story will go on sale in August. Ticket prices are $25.00 and will be available for purchase on their website www.ehassb.com.
