While much has been written about the infamous John Dillinger and his gang robbing the Merchants National Bank of South Bend in 1934, Dan Waterhouse, presents his take on that fateful day.

South Bend, Indiana --- Everybody Has A Story™ announced today that storyteller Dan Waterhouse will bring his story to the stage on Saturday, October 8, 2016, 7:30 p.m. at the Century Center.

“What we perceive to be facts concerning the events and John Dillinger’s gang robbing the Merchants National Bank are really just that or are they’re colored by imagination with the facts getting stretched to legend, suiting our accounts for the historical value attached to legend, " Waterhouse said. “Everybody wanted to add their recollection and as we all do, hoped that it would be the most exciting contribution," Waterhouse added.

“A South Bend native, Dan is one of the most colorful threads in the fabric of our show, and in 2014 and 2015 he told show stopping tales of his childhood,” said CR Heckaman, Executive Director of Everybody Has A Story LLC. “ Dan is an actor, filmmaker, and musician, as well as an award-winning storyteller,

entertaining audiences at venues like Journeyman’s Distiller, the Indiana State Fair, and the National Storytelling festival, we can’t wait to hear what Dan has in store for us on October 8th," Heckaman said.

Waterhouse is a featured performer along with a stellar cast of South Bend entertainers in the 3rd Annual music and variety show on Saturday, October 8, 2016, 7:30 p.m. at the Century Center in South Bend, IN. Tickets for Everybody Has A Story presents An Evening With Curtis Lord & Friends are now on sale.
